Nikon has held film and photo contests for more than half a century since the Nikon Photo Contest International in 1969, with the aims of providing a place for professionals and amateurs alike around the world who love photos and films to interact, and contributing to the development of imaging culture.
Vision
The Nikon Film and Photo Contest shares important stories through the global language of imaging, and fosters a community full of ambition in which creators who influence the way people think can support each other.
We believe that those who enter the Nikon Film and Photo Contest have the opportunity to communicate their vision to the world, and are able to achieve personal growth while they share their diverse perspectives and inspire society at the same time.
This contest encourages the creative endeavors of creators. We provide support for the sharing of their works around the world, and we also devote our energy to promoting the community with which they are shared.
