This channel shares the variety of forms practiced between different styles in Karate do Gojuryu, as well as the old and new forms within the same style. It invites viewers to observe the differences. The differences displayed from one way to another do not necessarily indicate which is right or wrong; they simply present different approaches from one school or style to another. For practitioners who practice one form over another, it encourages them to use discernment in choosing which method they prefer. Ganbatte.
National gold medallist in Kata, training since 1978 under Shihan Maskun Prasetya (8th Dan Kyoshi). Also trained under Shihan Takafumi Hamabata (8th Dan) & Shihan Katsuhide Kinjo (7th Dan) (ESGVJCC, CA). Previously practiced Boxing, Kenpo, Judo, and Chinese Kung Fu. Dedicated time to Wushu, achieving Runner Up in Tai Chi at nationals and invited to compete in 3rd World Wushu Championships (WWC) in Baltimore, USA, in 1995.
