映画 HAPPY SANDWICH 〜幸せのサンドウィッチ〜
舞台は沖縄本島の北部「やんばる」。この地で飲食店を営む料理人（満名匠吾)は、カミンチュ(神事を司どる人)から、「神様に捧げるサンドウィッチを作るように」と告 げられる。神に捧げるにふさわしいサンドウィッチへのヒントを求め、満名は「食」にかかわるさ まざまな人に会いに行く。生産者や料理人たちの「食」への想いとその生き方に触れ、満名は 「食と人間の生き方」について深く考え始める。
“HAPPY SANDWICH”
set in Yambaru, Okinawa, which is registered as a World Natural Heritage site, is scheduled to be screened in early spring 2023.
The brilliant way of life in Yambaru will open our hearts and make us realize what we’re longing for. The film captures the history, food culture, and nature of Yambaru transcend language and nationality and reach the hearts of people all over the world, across generations. This work is intended to raise people’s interest in the uniqueness of this place by showing the life of people there and to raise the question.
