作品のコンセプトは、
「視えるものだけが、真実[すべて]とは限らない」
不思議の国のアリスやシンデレラのような「童話の世界観」に、人間の本性や社会問題など「現実的な悲劇」を織り交ぜた独自の作品シリーズを展開する。
音楽/ストーリーを奏音69が、イラスト/映像をRAHWIAが制作する。略称「ロイスキャ」。
2014年、奏音69の楽曲「チェリーハント」のカバー動画をきっかけに結成。同年、Episode1「クイーンオブハート」で活動開始。
2024年より、作品ごとに最高のシンガー（キャストボーカル）を招く新体制がスタートした。

Concept:
“What’s seen is not all there is to truth.”
Blending the whimsical worldviews of classic fairy tales like Alice in Wonderland and Cinderella with the raw realities of human nature and societal issues, Royal Scandal presents a unique series of dark, dramatic stories.
Formed in 2014 after a cover video of KANON69’s song Cherry Hunt sparked the collaboration. That same year, they launched their first installment, Episode 1: Queen of Heart.
In 2024, they began a new chapter by inviting the best-suited singers (Cast Vocalists) for each work.
