日本ヴィパッサナー協会は、S.N.ゴエンカ氏が教える「ヴィパッサナー瞑想法」の普及を目的とした国際非営利団体の日本支部です。
S.N.ゴエンカ氏は、師であるサヤジ・ウ・バ・キン氏に準じた指導法を取っています。
ヴィパッサナー協会では、おもに10日間の合宿型の瞑想コースを提供しています。
2021年現在、コースを提供するセンターは日本国内に2つ（京都と千葉）、海外には約30ヵ国に200以上あります。
いずれのセンターにおいても、50以上の言語で瞑想指導を行える体制が整っています。
